Is Cartoon Cat a creepypasta?

Image
One person answers the question on a forum website and they say that Cartoon Cat is not a creepypasta. Yes, there was one answer to the question. Now there are two!! What is creepypasta? Who is Cartoon Cat? As I understand it, "creepypasta" is a sort of slick, hip but misleading description for unnerving stories posted on the Internet designed to shock people.  It seems to me that the scary Cartoon Cat could be involved in a creepypasta story. His whole reason for existing is to scare people and create creepypasta so I disagree with the guy who says that Cartoon Cat is not creepypasta.  I think I see the point, though. The individual character called Cartoon Cat is not creepypasta because he is an individual. However, he can be involved in creepypasta horror stories because that's his purpose in life. Phew, I think I've got that out of the way. Cartoon Cat. Photo: Fandom.com It is a bit surprising because when I went onto the search engine Bing looking for "ca...

The way a cat sees it...

Another take on "cat presents"--- I've gotten into looking for cat cartoons, just for a change of pace from YouTubes. A friend sent me this one. Perfect timing.

All things considered...

I found this great cartoon here . The blogger is, among other things, a kitteh lover and cartoon clipper. Go to The Haven , and check out her interesting site.

Odd cat presents- hmmm...

Human says- My cat brought home a present (his first present ever).... at least wasn't a dead bird. I say- really, a MOST unusual present... LOL Direct link is here (1:56) The graphic above is one of many from the absolutely hilarious guide How to tell if your cat is plotting to kill you . Okay, everyone who's ever had a cat has probably been presented with a "present" at one time or the other. And, they aren't always dead. One of my cats woke me up in the middle of the night to drop an only slightly used/ wounded gopher on the kitchen floor. Good kitteh. The gophers had been laying waste to the vegetable garden. So, I have a question for Matthew Inman , creator of the guide (or for anyone else, for that matter- some astute kitteh commenters here)--This woman's cat brought in a "present" of lichens and a leaf. How would you interpret this behavior?

Direct link is here (1:13) Direct link is here (1:38) Yeah, cats do this kind of stuff. One of mine had an interesting variation. Meow, meow, food, food, walking on top of me, etc. I was awake, but trying to ignore it all. To see how long I could get away with it. And then, everything went quiet. No movement. I waited and waited, then cautiously opened one eye. And, what should I see but a kitteh nose, and kitteh eyes, checking me out at VERY close range. Wow, had she ever moved in on VERY quiet kitteh feet. I think she was trying to determine if I was dead or alive. twolf, my internet pal who sent me the Simon's cat links, said something like this: "She was trying to figure out where her next meal was coming from- if you were going to be it." UPDATE: litbrit posted a great link, How to tell is your cat is planning to kill you on TRex's blog

Cartoon cat- and now for something completely different

This post goes out with thanks to my internet pal twolf, who has, among other things, helped me when I lost the instruction book for my D60 Canon camera, made me an awesome "I can haz" version of bats for teaching, AND gave me first the Simon's Cat link. Oh, this YouTube is only sorta completely different, because this is true cat behavior, if not in details then certainly in spirit. Simon's Cat 'TV Dinner' Direct link is here (2:35)
