White Norwegian Forest cats- Wonderful Photos
These are just plain wonderful photos of white Norwegian Forest cats. I went to flickr to find more photos to show the differences I see between Norwegian Forest cats and Maine coons, to follow up on an earlier post here. And, then I found these stunning photos.
There are a lot more in this flickr set Noé et Oracio des Fines Terres from noeoracio. I chose just a few of the many that are available under the Creative Commons License. I give the links for the individual photos at the bottom of this post-- I don't want to interrupt the visual flow of these fine photos with text.
From top to bottom, the photos from noeoracio are here, here, here, here and here. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteHi Silvia- I will try to figure out how to look at your photos of your white Forest cat! I would love to see them.
ReplyDeleteAnd, just so there isn't any misunderstanding, these are not my cats- I found the images by searching the flickr site, looking for photos that were available with a Creative Commons License- meaning I could "distribute" them.
They are great photos! If you click on the links you can see more from the same person who has a lot of photos of the Norwegian Forest cats.
Silvia- I just went to your blog here and found your photos!
ReplyDeleteThey are great in showing what a Norwegian Forest cat looks like- there is only one person who regularly posts many photos of white Norwegian Forest cats (the ones I linked to on flickr) so it's good to have more available.
I know Blogger is a total pain, but try to figure out how to tag the images so that more people can find your photos. I can't explain this easily, alas, and it took me a while to figure out!
Hi all, I have a beautiful white female that I adopted from the animal sheltie when she was about 9 months, she had short fur and was kinda scrawny. Now she is big not fat and beautiful with long fur and a very fluffy bushy tail.
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to find out what breed she is. At first I thought she was a Nain Coon but now I'm thinking she looks more like a white Norwegian Forest cat.
Does anyone know how I can tell which breed exactly she is? Thanks, Josee
I have one also. He was a rescue. He's 13 now. I wish I could find another one day, he's been a gem.
