Awwwww... So cute! Hoover still does that kneading (we call it "making biscuits" down here) and nursing on a fingertip towel he's decided is his cloth mommy.
I had a cat who would do this, stretched out on my chest, head towards mine, "making bread". Deal was, she'd get really into it and start drooling! I only had her for a year (I was taking care of her for house owners who were away). I considered this a supreme compliment. lol.
One person answers the question on a forum website and they say that Cartoon Cat is not a creepypasta. Yes, there was one answer to the question. Now there are two!! What is creepypasta? Who is Cartoon Cat? As I understand it, "creepypasta" is a sort of slick, hip but misleading description for unnerving stories posted on the Internet designed to shock people. It seems to me that the scary Cartoon Cat could be involved in a creepypasta story. His whole reason for existing is to scare people and create creepypasta so I disagree with the guy who says that Cartoon Cat is not creepypasta. I think I see the point, though. The individual character called Cartoon Cat is not creepypasta because he is an individual. However, he can be involved in creepypasta horror stories because that's his purpose in life. Phew, I think I've got that out of the way. Cartoon Cat. Photo: Fandom.com It is a bit surprising because when I went onto the search engine Bing looking for "ca
I pay attention to cats in movies, and, thanks to Jone Bouman aka "JB" in the Film & Television Unit at the American Human Association , I was able to solve the "Orangey aka Rhubarb" mystery here . I don't watch much TV, but JB suggested I check out "The Closer", because the cat "Kitty" appears in various episodes. And, the LA connection- "The Closer" is set in LA, where I more or less grew up- VG= "Valley Girl". What JB didn't know- I grew up reading mysteries and police procedurals and watching Perry Mason! Timely advice- the new season of The Closer starts on June 8, and June is American Humane Association’s Adopt-A-Cat Month® So... first step was to see what was on YouTube showing Kitty in The Closer. This was it: One YouTube- Season 2, Episode 13- "Fritz left the door open"- Kitty vanishes, and then... Direct link is here. Other parts of the Kitty story are below- and btw, "Brenda" i
Pierre Bonnard was a great painter of cats. But, not in an obvious way. The cats are never the focal point, if there is one single focal point in Bonnard's paintings. Of course not all Bonnard paintings have images of cats. But, hey, I'm a cat blogger! For some reason or another, I started looking for paintings of cats. There are so many. Also see here . But the Bonnard paintings captivated me, the more so the closer I looked. Apart from Bonnard's portraits of Ambroise Vollard with his cat/s, the cats are less obviously presented. But, if you look with an attuned eye, the cat is THERE, just as a cat always is. Not just "there", but often the most animated and intent being in the room. First, Ambroise Vollard the art dealer, and then on to Pierre Bonnard the painter, both important in their own ways. Ambroise Vollard has b
