One person answers the question on a forum website and they say that Cartoon Cat is not a creepypasta. Yes, there was one answer to the question. Now there are two!! What is creepypasta? Who is Cartoon Cat? As I understand it, "creepypasta" is a sort of slick, hip but misleading description for unnerving stories posted on the Internet designed to shock people. It seems to me that the scary Cartoon Cat could be involved in a creepypasta story. His whole reason for existing is to scare people and create creepypasta so I disagree with the guy who says that Cartoon Cat is not creepypasta. I think I see the point, though. The individual character called Cartoon Cat is not creepypasta because he is an individual. However, he can be involved in creepypasta horror stories because that's his purpose in life. Another take on "cat presents"--- I've gotten into looking for cat cartoons, just for a change of pace from YouTubes. A friend sent me this one. Perfect timing.
I pay attention to cats in movies, and, thanks to Jone Bouman aka "JB" in the Film & Television Unit at the American Human Association , I was able to solve the "Orangey aka Rhubarb" mystery here . I don't watch much TV, but JB suggested I check out "The Closer", because the cat "Kitty" appears in various episodes. And, the LA connection- "The Closer" is set in LA, where I more or less grew up- VG= "Valley Girl". What JB didn't know- I grew up reading mysteries and police procedurals and watching Perry Mason! Timely advice- the new season of The Closer starts on June 8, and June is American Humane Association’s Adopt-A-Cat Month® So... first step was to see what was on YouTube showing Kitty in The Closer.
